Why can’t I just do the dishes without ending up with a soaked shirt? It’s not like I try to dump water on myself. Still, no matter how hard I try to stay dry, I end up drenched. Is there some sort of dish-washing secret that could help me keep the water in the sink? It just drives me nuts!

Ya know, I get frustrated by the same thing! I just thought I was a weirdo, who is WAY TOO MESSY!!!
My mom told me tonight that she has a theory about this – she says my sink isn't deep enough. Add that to the fact that I am also WAY TOO MESSY and you've got the problem!
Well, I don't know about your mom's theory…..it didn't work for me. In GA, when Ike and I remodeled the kitchen, we put in one of these super deep sinks (which I terribly miss) and I still bathed myself w/ sink water all the time. I think w/ the super deep sink, you just have more water in which to splash all over yourself. But, maybe that's just "messy" me….I don't know…..
