Nate went pee-pee on the potty! Isn’t that crazy? He can’t even say potty! We just tried it out of the blue and he did it! Now, we make it a routine thing every night before bath time. We aren’t really trying to “train” him yet but we figured it wouldn’t hurt to at least get him used to the idea. We’ll see!

Good job Nate! So fabulous! I was just reading an article on potty training because everyone is pressuring us to try. They get ready in their own time, and it sounds like a great first step. Congrats!
Hey girls…..just FYI……none of our boys potty trained before 3 1/2years old!!! All started doing the pee pee thing before bath at around 18-19 months. It was a lonnnnnnnnnng haul to get to the goal!!! (I wish someone had told me the reality of it all!!!)Nik….maybe Nate will be the potty genius and you'll get super lucky and have him out of diapers by the end of the year!!! For you…I hope so!!!Karen…don't let them pressure you….it only makes for a stressed out child!!!! (and mom!!!) And just for you…I'll try to blog about potty training this week!!!!
I doubt he'll be a genius! He's more of the brawn and less of the brain type! 🙂 We're just having some fun with the whole pee-pee in the potty thing. I have zero expectations! (That way I'll have zero frustrations!) HA
